Each COVID-19 disease course is individual and requires a tailor-made aftercare programme.
On the basis of a detailed preliminary medical consultation, during which the parameters of the course of the disease and the resulting complaints are clarified, an individual post care programme is developed by the Oberwaid.
An interdisciplinary team of renowned specialists and therapists will accompany you professionally on your way back to new strength and vitality. We guarantee continuous specialist medical care (24/7 in-house doctor).
The Oberwaid provides you with peace and privacy. Here you can concentrate fully on yourself and your health. Psychotherapeutic co-treatment is also available on request.

COVID-Aftercare Programme

  • For whom is this aftercare programme suitable?

    • Exhausted patients who need to recover after a COVID infection while relying on discretion and first-class hotel service
    • Exhausted patients who need active physical rehabilitation including medical care after illness or hospitalisation
    • Patients seeking mental health care after a serious course of illness

  • Holistic diagnostics & therapy

    Diagnostics according to requirements

    • Clinical examination by a medical specialist and regular visits (as required)
    • Laboratory analysis
    • Pulmonary function test
    • ECG, echocardiography
    • Sonography of the cerebral and leg arteries and of the abdomen
    • Detailed nutritional counselling (as required)
    • Medical report

     

    Therapy
    The therapy plan is created individually for you on the basis of
    the detailed diagnostics and may include the following measures:

    • Physiotherapy / respiratory gymnastics
    • Respiratory training with device «Acapella»
    • Medical training therapy
    • Relaxation techniques
    • Relaxation massage
    • Ergotherapy
    • Water therapy
    • Lactate level measurement incl. consultation
    • Personal Training

  • Your Stay

    A minimum of 10 nights is scheduled for COVID Aftercare Programme.

    The stay includes:

  • Requirements for admission are:

    • The acute disease has been overcome
    • A doctor's order for a cure is available
    • The attending doctor must certify that there is no longer any infectiousness (e.g. by presenting the doctor‘s report)
