Oberwaid Gym

The perfect combination of fitness & wellness.

At Oberwaid Gym, you train on state-of-the-art equipment under the guidance of professionals.
If you decide to become a member, we will develop an individual training plan in consultation with you. For this reason, we begin with a fitness check, with functional muscle strength measurement, and the evaluation of your body composition through bioelectric impedance analysis (B.I.A.). The feedback-supported strength training enables continuous efficiency and movement control. After an intensive training session, you can relax in our generous wellness oasis. As a member, you have full access to the exclusive Tau Spa, equipped with a Hamam, two steam baths, a mixed bio-sauna, an outdoor whirlpool (36°C), an indoor pool and relaxation and treatment rooms.

      Our memberships include the following benefits:

      • Training schedule, instruction and training adjustment every 3 months
      • Group courses (excl. courses with extra costs)
      • Introduction to the Tau Spa area
      • Full access to the indoor swimming pool, bio-sauna, hammam, heated outdoor whirlpool, relaxation area and spa garden
      • Beverages and fruit
      • Towel and bathrobe service
      • Stop'n Go with 12-month subscription: possibility of two interruptions of max. 3 months each – e.g. for a stay abroad with a doctor's certificate or military/community service (longer than 4 weeks).
      • Parking in the underground garage

      Questions and Answers

      • Is part of the membership covered by my health insurance?

        Yes, depending on your supplementary insurance, a part is covered.

      • How many training sessions per week make sense?

        At least two training sessions per week are required for the training to be effective.

      • Is there an age limit for membership?

        Membership is available to individuals aged 16 and over.

      • Can I use the therapy bath independently as a member?

        The therapy bath can only be used when you are accompanied by a therapist.

      • Will I be supervised during the training?

        The Oberwaid Gym is supervised at the following times:

        Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – Noon, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

        Saturday: 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

        Sunday: unattended

      Our attended times are:

      Monday to Friday
      8:00 am – Noon, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm,
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm,

      Samstag 10:00 am – 2:30 pm
      Sunday: unattended

      The Tau Spa Team is available to take bookings and questions:
      Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
      Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
